Wow! Spring!!!!! or The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

Wow, those early bloomers have sprung to life. Lot's happening right now and I can't hope to mention them all. I love to see those Magnolia blooms. Also, although I love to see them, the pear/cherry blossoms seem to kick my immune system into overdrive.

Eastern Tent Caterpillar

Look out for these pests. The eggs have hatched already (last week of March/ first week of April) and some nests have been sighted. If you have them you will see their silky nests in the branch crotches of your trees. They are hungry and could totally defoliate your trees.

Cincinnati Home and Garden Show

Over the past several months we have dedicated many hours and much blood sweat and tears to prepare for our first entry in the home and garden show. Our booth is made from recycled pine and spruce trees that died due to the severe drought of 2007 and 2008.
